The new digital platform for the development of young sports talents in Bulgaria – Future Stars by Betano , was officially presented at an event that brought together media representatives, influencers, and some of the biggest names in Bulgarian sports. Under the motto “The future stars rise today”, the platform aims to support young Bulgarian athletes by providing them with knowledge, mentorship, and practical guidance for personal and professional growth. The CSR initiative is created by Betano , a leading online sports betting and gaming brand owned by the international GameTech company Kaizen Gaming.
Future Stars by Betano is an online platform where young athletes aged 18 to 25 can apply to receive mentorship from well-known sports figures in Bulgaria. The project brings together leading names in sports and talents who are just beginning to develop in their chosen disciplines.
The mentors in Future Stars by Betano include the well-known fitness model and writer Bilyana Yotovska; renowned fitness trainer and nutritionist Kiril Tanev; and sports psychologist and former professional basketball player Polina Hadzhiyankova. They will support participants by sharing their personal experience, expertise, and practical advice.
A special guest and ambassador for the event was one of Bulgaria’s most successful figure skaters, Alexandra Feigin. A multiple-time national champion, she represents the country at prestigious international competitions, including the Olympic Games and the World and European Championships. Through her achievements, Alexandra serves as an inspiration and a role model for many young athletes just starting out in their careers.
Participants will have access to video and written content, as well as online classes with the professional mentors. As part of the program, they will build confidence and knowledge across three key areas:
- Mental health
- Professional development
- Personal growth
Content and resources on the platform will be released gradually throughout 2026 to maintain continuous engagement and provide tangible value to participants. Online events featuring the mentors will also be organized, giving applicants the opportunity to meet and interact with them.
“Future Stars by Betano is our way of showing that we support young athletes not only on the field, but also in life. The platform is designed to provide knowledge that is often missing at the beginning of a professional sports journey. This is a long-term project through which we hope to contribute to the development of future sports talents in Bulgaria,” said Tsvetin Yordano, Manager of Kaizen Gaming for Bulgaria and lead responsible for executing the responsible gambling policies.
“We are proud to launch this project in Bulgaria, as we already have successful examples in countries such as Greece, Romania and Portugal. Future Stars by Betano is the first step towards creating a conscious community of young people who love sports and strive to achieve their goals. This is a social initiative we aim to expand in the future so that we can reach an even broader audience and support as many aspiring athletes as possible,” – Mr. Yordanov added.
During the opening event, moderated by the influencer Stefan Popov – Chefo, a discussion took place focusing on sports and the development of healthy daily habits. All attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, and here is what the program’s mentors shared:
Bilyana Yotovska – fitness model: “Motivation isn’t something we are simply given. It’s an inner drive that we need to constantly nurture in order to grow. With “Future Stars by Betano” every young person can discover something meaningful – not only how to train and eat properly, but also how to develop their emotional intelligence.”
Kiril Tanev – nutritionist: “Nutrition is an essential part of physical preparation. It is the fuel that helps every athlete achieve strong results. That is why the right diet, sufficient rest, and a positive mindset are so important for success.”
Polina Hadzhiyankova – sports psychologist: “I’m happy to be part of Future Stars by Betano because it offers access to knowledge and support that bring real added value to every athlete. In the program we place strong emphasis on psychological and emotional resilience, which is crucial for any professional athlete.”
Alexandra Feigin also greeted the program participants and expressed her motivation for being part of the project: “I believe that behind every success in sports—and in life, whether big or small – lies the support of family, loved ones, and coaches. No one can succeed alone. Success is built on talent, but also on hard work, daily effort, sacrifices, and the drive to achieve one’s goal.”
Event guests also engaged with the special interactive wall titled “Where do you see yourself in 1 year?”, where they wrote down their dreams and goals – a symbol of the key message of Future Stars by Betano: Champions are not born. They are built step by step, medal by medal – starting today.
The organizers’ goal is for the platform to evolve into a motivational tool, fostering a community of young sports talents who can exchange useful information, best practices, and advice on building a successful sports career and maintaining a healthy body and mind.
