Website Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data we collect through kaizengaming.com and its subdomain careers.kaizengaming.com, why and how we use it, and what rights you have. We keep things simple below — look out for the “In short” boxes if you’re short on time.

1. Who we are

Kaizen Gaming International Ltd (“we”, “us”, “the Company”) owns and runs this website. We’re based at Unit 41/42, Level 4, Pendergardens Business Centre, Triq Sant’ Andrija, San Ġiljan, STJ 9023, Malta. We are the controller of your data — meaning we decide why and how it’s processed.

We’re part of the Kaizen Gaming Group as listed in Schedule 1, which operates the Betano brand and offers online gaming and related services across multiple countries.

2. What this notice covers

In short: This notice covers your data on kaizengaming.com — whatever device you use to visit us.

This notice explains:

  • What personal data we collect through our website and related services
  • What we do with it
  • What choices and rights you have

Business contact? If you’re acting on behalf of one of our suppliers, vendors, or partners, Section 16 covers the specific terms that apply to you.

Not sure what a term means? Check the Glossary.

3. What data we collect

We collect data from you in two ways:

When you reach out to us directly If you use our “Contact Us” form, you may share your country of residence, name, surname, email address, and your message.

Automatically, as you browse As you use our website, we automatically collect technical data about your browsing activity through cookies.

4. What we collect it for

In short: We use your contact details to respond to you, and cookies to keep the site running smoothly and (with your consent) to personalize your experience.

Purpose Data processed Legal basis
Handling your enquiry Country, name, surname, email, your message Legitimate interest*
Keeping the site running Essential cookies Legitimate interest / strictly necessary — exempt from consent under ePrivacy rules
Personalizing your visit Functionality / performance cookies Your consent**

* When we rely on “legitimate interest,” we first weigh our interests against your rights and privacy.

** Consent means you’ve freely, clearly, and knowingly agreed — through a statement or a clear action. We’ll always ask before processing on this basis where required. You can withdraw consent anytime, as easily as you gave it — this won’t affect processing already done.

5. Who we share your data with

In short: We don’t sell your data. We may only share it with internal processors falling under the same group of companies, supporting our operations and never send it outside the EU without proper safeguards. We sometimes link to other sites for your convenience — but once you click through, it’s their rules that apply, not ours. We share website-enquiry and cookie data mainly with Kaizen Digital Services Single Partner S.A. (Software Application Promotion and Support Services), a Greek company in our Group, based at Neratziotissis Str. no. 111, Marousi, 15124, and if necessary other group entities. They process your data strictly on our instructions, to support our services or meet legal requirements — never for their own purposes.

We don’t transfer your data outside the EU to countries without adequate data protection — unless we put strong safeguards in place first, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data stays as protected as it is here. If this ever applies to you, we’ll update this notice to explain how and why.

If you’re a business contact see Section 16 for the specific terms that apply to you as one of our contractual counterparties.

Our website may link to other sites, services, or apps run by organizations outside the Kaizen Group. We share these links purely to be helpful. This Privacy Notice doesn’t cover those third-party sites, services, or apps — even if you access or download them through our website. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices, security, or any other legal matters on their end.

Before sharing your data with a third party, take a moment to read their privacy policy and terms of use — their terms govern your interactions with them, not ours.

By choosing to visit or use a third-party site through our links, you’re doing so at your own risk, and you agree we won’t be liable for anything that happens there.

6. How long we keep your data

In short: We keep your data for 2 years, then delete it — unless we need it longer for a legal reason.

We only keep your data as long as we actually need it. Data you share via Sections 4–5 is kept for 2 years from when we collected it.

If there’s an open investigation, legal claim, or complaint involving your data, we may need to keep it longer until that’s resolved.

Business contact? See Section 16 for your specific retention period.

7. Automated decisions

In short: No, we don’t do this — at least not through kaizengaming.com.

We don’t use automated decision-making or profiling when processing the data you give us through this website.

15. Notice for contractual counterparties and suppliers

In short: If you act on behalf of one of our suppliers, vendors, or partners, this section explains how we handle your data — as independent controllers, only for contract-related purposes, kept only as long as needed.

This section is for individuals who act on behalf of the Company’s contractual counterparties — suppliers, vendors, partners, and their employees, collaborators, or other personnel — in connection with negotiating, concluding, managing, or performing a contract with us. It’s provided under lawful obligations, depending on whether we received your data directly from you or from the counterparty you represent.

The Company and its contractual counterparty each act as an independent controller under the applicable data protection laws. In performing the agreement, each party may process the other’s personnel data mainly for business purposes — identification and contact details, for example.

This data is used only to perform the agreement with the commitment to:

  • Processing personal data in line with the applicable data protection laws and other applicable laws
  • Keeping that data secure and confidential
  • Giving data subjects the information required under applicable data protection laws and enabling them to exercise their rights

Who’s the controller? The controller will be Kaizen Gaming International Ltd or one of the other Kaizen Group companies listed below, depending on which entity you’re contracting or interacting with. In every case, you can reach the relevant controller at [email protected].

Your data is currently processed and stored at our registered office and/or other Kaizen Gaming Group as listed in Schedule 1 locations involved in performing the contract.

If we transfer your data outside the EEA — including to other Group entities in the jurisdictions listed in Section 1 — we do so with appropriate safeguards in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also disclose your data to anyone legally entitled to receive it.

Do you have to provide this data? Yes — without it, we couldn’t establish the relationship between the parties.
