September 24, 2026 — Kaizen Gaming’s community resilience programme is extending its emergency relief support across Latin America, after the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, Colombia and Peru, through a series of donations to organizations providing medical care and food aid to affected communities. The support comes as the region continues to recover from one of its most seismically active stretches in recent years.
Between June and August 2026, the region was struck by three major earthquakes: a magnitude 7.2–7.5 double earthquake in Venezuela on June 24; a magnitude 5.5 earthquake in Peru’s Junín region on July 18; and a magnitude 7.4 earthquake in western Colombia on August 10, described by the country’s geological service as the strongest to hit the nation this century. The disasters have affected hundreds of thousands of people across all three countries along with their families and communities.
“In the aftermath of an earthquake, people and families are often left facing uncertainty, loss and very immediate needs. When communities close to our people are affected, sitting on the sidelines isn’t an option,” said Violeta Miano, LATAM Corporate Communications Manager of Kaizen Gaming. “We moved quickly, working with organizations that already have trusted networks on the ground and focusing our support on where it was needed most, to provide essential medical care and food assistance.”
To that end, the company supports three relief organizations, each working directly in one of the affected countries.
- International Medical Corps, supporting emergency medical response in Venezuela.
- Hombro a Hombro, a Peruvian business-led disaster response network, supporting relief efforts in Peru by the provision of food baskets.
- ABACO (Asociación de Bancos de Alimentos de Colombia), Colombia’s national association of food banks, supporting food security for displaced families.
These relief efforts are part of Kaizen Gaming’s new global Corporate Responsibility Programme, designed to help communities prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters. Rooted in the company’s “People First” culture, the programme strengthens community resilience both where Kaizeners and their families live, and across the regions where the company operates. By combining local expertise, trusted partnerships and a commitment to long-term recovery, the programme is already active across eight markets in 2026 and will continue expanding through targeted initiatives tailored to local needs.
