EGR Operator Awards 2020

With five nominations, Kaizen Gaming enters the final straight of the “Oscars” of online gaming

For the second year in a row the company finds itself among the leading companies in the industry worldwide

For the people in the know within online gaming worldwide, the EGR Operator Awards suggest the ultimate competition process so it follows that they are also known as the Oscars of the industry. In this big event last year Kaizen Gaming (Stoiximan / Betano) stole the spotlight by winning the main prize for Mobile Operator of the Year 2019. By all accounts, this was just the beginning. Since then the company has continued to vigorously demonstrate its commitment to “continuous improvement”, as the word Kaizen is translated from Japanese.
So this year, the largest GameTech company in the country ties up its nomination in five categories at the EGR Operator Awards 2020, qualifying for the final phase by the Jury so as to step even closer to the podium. The final ranking process is the milestone of the whole process and it is considered a distinction in itself, especially when one of the categories is none other than that of Operator of the Year!

Of equal significance are the other four distinctions, which as a whole pinpoint the superiority of the mobile platform, its development within the Casino sector but also its persistence and lasting social footprint: Mobile Operator, Mobile Casino Product, Mobile Sports Product and Standout charitable effort of the year. It is worth noting that the last category was added to the event for the first time this year, as a result of the pandemic and so as to address the need of rewarding the actions of the industry in terms of corporate social responsibility.
Starting back in 2013, Kaizen Gaming suggests one of the fastest growing companies in the industry in Europe. Investing in cutting-edge technologies, the company now employs more than 750 people and operates in 6 countries: Greece and Cyprus with the Stoiximan brand, Germany, Romania, Portugal and Brazil with its international brand Betano. Known for its extensive sponsorship program that supports major international sports teams and popular Olympians, the company has been operating with responsibility and sensitivity since its inception. The “Little Heroes” corporate social responsibility program has reached more than 30,000 children throughout Greece, while during the pandemic Kaizen’s donations in all countries of activity reached the impressive amount of 0.5 million euros.

The EGR Operator Awards are held every year and attract the leading online gaming companies worldwide, aiming to recognize and reward innovation, best practices and responsibility in the field of e-Gaming, in addition to establishing the proper conditions for  a secure and enjoyable game.

It is worth noting that in this year’s event the categories amount to thirty three (33), after the most recent addition of two categories. In the current competitive phase the nominations reached a total of 238 with the participation of more than 100 leading online gambling companies operating worldwide. The winners will be announced at the digital awards ceremony to be held on November 11th and 12th. The countdown has begun!
